Q wander is a gen 2 smartwatch by Fossil. It has a nice round shape with a choice of leather/stainless steel/silicone straps, giving it a classy look. The band has a width of 22 millimeters. and the case is made of stainless steel with a diameter of 45 millimeters. It has a buckle for closing the strap.
The Q Wander is powered by Android Wear 2.0. That means that you can say “Okay Google” whenever you need some help.
It comes with a Snapdragon 2100 processor, giving it pretty powerful performance. The device has a 512 MB RAM, which is enough to run things smoothly on a smartwatch. In addition, it has a battery life of almost 24 hours and provides you with 4GB internal memory to store data.
Fossil Q Wander comes in 6 different colors, including light brown leather, rose gold-tone stainless, white silicone, stainless steel, black silicone, and wine leather. The strap is interchangeable, so you can get an extra strap to change it later on. The smartwatch has a touchscreen of diameter 1.42 inches, and the resolution of the display is 320 x 290 pixels.
The Q Wander has its built-in activity tracking feature. It contains sensors to track your steps, the distance you have covered while walking or running, and the calories burned during your exercise. If you want to stay updated with all the activity on your social media, this smartwatch can do it too. It keeps you updated with all your notifications, and you can also respond to text messages, calls and emails without touching a phone.
The watch comes with a built-in mic and a speaker so, as I mentioned above, you can tell the smartwatch what to do. You do not need to carry around your headphones because the watch has a loudspeaker for your basic tasks. It also has a number of faces for the dial that can be customized and changed according to what you like. Moreover, you can change the graphics, background color and also download more from the internet.
Another useful feature of the smartwatch is that it lets you control the music on your favorite music app on your phone, including Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, Pandora and Soundcloud. The watch has a LED flashlight, where the screen turns really bright to help lighten a small area.
This Fossil’s model is IP67 protected. That means that the smartwatch is able to withstand water pressure on a depth up to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. You can use it every day without having to worry about it being exposed to splashes of water.
As a final word, the Q Wander has all the features required by a smartwatch, including notification alerts, text messaging, interchangeable straps, built-in activity tracking and more. I think this model will suit most people who are looking for a smartwatch with good design and provides all the features for everyday use.
