How many physical things do we really need? (Infographic)

We live in a world of overproduction and overconsumption. Many people buy things that they don’t need and sometimes it can become a serious problem that often remains unseen.
When we own more physical stuff than we actually need, it creates a burden: we spend extra time to move things, cleaning becomes difficult, we are distracted from important matters and so on (not to mention the additional costs). At the same time, minimalists all over the world show that it is possible to live a happier life with an extremely low amount of things.
So, what about actual numbers? I’ve collected some data and created the infographic – hope, you will like it:
Yep… For some people, it may sound unbelievable, but 300 things really should be enough for most of us. Of course, there is no need to chase after any specific numbers. You just have to get the idea that having less, in reality, means “more”.
Did you already have experience of counting stuff? Would love to know your opinion in the comments below.
